This building had three condos and was market for one year with another realtor with no offers and very few showings.
When I first walked into this condo, I had a hard time picturing what rooms served what purpose. It was listed as a three bedroom, one bath, new kitchen and beautiful hard wood floors. The owners spent hours refinishing the wood floors and thought that would sell the place. It had huge windows in each room and it felt like you were living on the street.
I started out redefining the rooms. It was now a 2 bedroom, on bath condo, with an eat-in kitchen. With a budget of $2000 and some furniture and accessories the seller brought in, we finished under budget at $18700. We made simple shear window covering, brought modern furniture at IKEA and saw the transformation from puzzeling to warm and inviting. My client sold all three condos within three months.
This was a third bedroom located in the front of the house.
It is now a living room with emphasis on the beautiful fireplace.
